I know this is really unoriginal, but we've got to aim for some draws to at least get some confidence back. I tihnk we should shut up shop and play 5-4-1 for the next couple of games at least.

Who the hell is responsible for defence at this club anyway? Do we have a defensive coach?

On a lighter note, how many more 30 yard ubstoppable shots can we concede this season? - it's unbelievable.

You give the average pro footballer time and space 30 yards from goal often enough he will score. It's happening once a fortnight to City because we are non-existant in this area.

Yes defence is a big issue, perhaps to many loan players, but you have to remember the other team has travelled 50 yards before it gets to the defence in most casses.

Wilkshire in my view played well today but he needs a minder and a young lad low on cofidence and is not a ball winner is not the answer. I'm not getting on the Cole Skuse band wagon but he needs a rest and to come back in the future, in a roll more suited to his footballing atributes.

Midfield general / dynamo are not in his locker.

Basically you are describing the job of breaking up opposition play that Joe Burnell did consistently well for his 120+ appearances in a City shirt ... and people on here murdered the lad week in week out ... he is now a regualar pick for the only unbeaten side in the country, just two places below us!

He was criticised because Doherty was better than him.I think people were most annoyed that the two were played together in Wilson's over-cautious line-ups. How we wish we'd kept one of them now, even with their flaws.

You might be right. Tommy's class was irresistable at times though, whereas Burnell was the workhorse.

100% correct.

we are getting murdered in the middle of the park, this puts extra pressure

on the defenders and give sod all service to your strikers and wide men,

also our 2 full backs are not getting foward supporting the 2 wide midfielders

/ wingers, our 2 in the middle of midfield are too light weight.
