Dolman Block B
this position in jan, do any of you reckon GJ will be given a lot of £ to keep our football club up, or very little and must use the players he already has at the club
Tunley Legend
We ain't got two pennies to scratch our arse with and even in January any new players Johnson brings in will have to be free transfers on the condition that he can get the equal amount of wages out of the club to balance things up. I am absolutely positive of that. We are so much in debt I really cannot see Lansdown putting the final nail in the clubs coffin by subjecting us to even more debt and almost certain Administration next season. It just won't happen in my opinion. So, to summarise, Johnson will need to do a lot better in January with his free signings than he has done in the loan market to date! Pewsham
It's a tough equation. If we spend money and stay up... it'll be money well spent. If we fail to spend and we go down, it'll be a suicidal decision. If we spend and go down - we'll be sailing very close the administrators clutches. None me thinks. What you all think?
aa_bcfc
It will be a disaster if we go down.It will cost less money to keep us up than it will cost if we go down.Over the last 12-18 monthe about 1.6 million has been taken out of the team. we have consistantly sold players and any replacements been nowhere near as good (excluding brooker). Name me any player who was in Wilsons team who would not get into the existing crock of crap.Unless we spend a good proportion of the 1.6 million on at least 4 consistant performers we are down.1 centre back1 centre midfield1 left midfield1 strikeraa bcfc
