rumbellow
On HTV news (sports segment) with Jed Titman earlier in the week (monday or tuesday ish). The jist was 'oh how City would love a Gerry Gow in there present predicament'.Let us pray. And they showed a free kick routine, Which culminated with a Gerry Gow goal.I was there, But, Had forgotten all about this routine, Gow was involved twice, It was a training ground routine, It was just beautiful and I thought God that was nearly 30 years ago, If Chelsea, Manu or Arsenal scored a goal of that quality this coming weekend, Messrs.Linneker, Hansen, Lawrenson and the gay looking one who used to play for Southampton would be cracking one off whilst telling us that is why these players were worth 100k a week. For those who have not ever seen this, I suggest you bombard Titman with requests to show this work of art on his Thursday Soccer night programme. It brought a tear to my eye and cheered me up for rest of this week, My God I loved GG, I saw him blossom from the youth team, Right through to playing for Scotland and Man City, Quite simply he was my all time BCFC hero and that includes John Atyeo whom I had the pleasure of watching for 7 seasons.I don't often agree with Titman but how I wish we had a GG now.Amen. The jist was 'oh how City would love a Gerry Gow in there present predicament'.Personally, I did see it. Come along to the Supporters Trust launch night on Monday, we've been working hard to get some excellent footage of Bristol CIty over the past 50 years - it'll be a video treat! Plus, while you're there, you could sign-up for membership (plug, plug!)
