Guest midlandno2 Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 If nothing else, it's ENGLAND versus Wales, that should be enough on it's to get the whole ground rocking!
Swindon Hater Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I say fair play to the Swansea board, shows what a bit of ambition can do.We're going to League two.
Guest Redpepper Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 England against Wales - isn't it that every week for Swansea? Should think they're used to by now!

I'm so excited about Saturday but also a feeling of apprehension and slight nerves is now creeping into the back of my mind. If we really get behind the lads and Heywood keeps Knight in his pocket we might have a tiny weeny chance of scrapping a result. I could be totally wrong and we could win the game with ease Come on boys, lets be 'avin you
DolmanDudess Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 That won't happen, Heywood is a donkey, Knight has pace and skill. Whenevr Knight has played against us he has always got the better of Heywood, can't wait to see RF, LT and LK tear you apart Paired with Carey who is very mobile on the ground they work very well. Heywood wins all the headers and Carey tidies up the loose ends on the floor. The last home game S****horpe i can think of one time when he was caught by Sharpe who has pace but out of our seven signings he has been the most consistant.Granted, at the next level I'm not sure if he could do the job but at this level he certaintly does the job We shall see Saturday
DolmanDudess Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Fair enough but he will have a very hard job on Saturday Yes, he will as will all the boys. Lets just hope RF, LT, LK don't "tear them apart"
DolmanDudess Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I doubt Fallon will play, isn't as good as 'the only gay in the village' and little diving Knight.Indeed, a partnership of Trundle and Knight is one not to be taken lightly.
WTFiGO!?! Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 We shall see Saturday Very true DD.I reckon anybody can beat anybody in this league (same as all the others) and with the prospect of the atmosphere Saturday who knows. I bet knowone forsaw us beating Huddersfield when they were right up there, and we beat them easily. I for one would love to see City stick a few wins together, not just for the points on the board but just to get some light relief from all the doom and gloom merchants that have come out from their caves of late. We've got to keep the faith. Imagine if the players adopted our pessimism, I sure as hell hope that if they do bother with this forum they don't take it to closely to heart.
tompo Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I doubt Fallon will play, isn't as good as 'the only gay in the village' and little diving Knight.Diving Knight?Fallon was guilty of the most blatant (and theatrical) dive I've ever seen when we played you earlier. Pots and kettles spring to mind.
Dolman Block B Posted January 26, 2006 Author Posted January 26, 2006 Top shout Arny !!! Thanks redtildead, sad but id take a draw now. Thier tails must be seriously up high

Dolman Block B Posted January 26, 2006 Author Posted January 26, 2006 Haha. One Leroy Lita.Must b honest Swindle, i don't rate Fallon, couldnt get in your team for ages.Scored a craker against us couple seasons ago but thats about all.Peacock, if he plays like he can is a far better player, strong in all departments but its whether he got his head in gear or not.He was desperate to rejoin us, but our board was,nt aving it, and as he still got house down here somewhere jumped at the chance to join Swindle Town.
Rich-TWSC- Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I played an 11-a-side match just yesterday, nothing majorly competative but even in this game the forwards were going down so easily in the box!My point is we could name the never ending list of players who fall down easily, Fallon did go down to the ground easily on occasions... I know for a fact it annoyed BCFC fans when Leroy Lita did it.It's one of those annoying things in football that is everyday practice now.

Guest We5ty Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Just remember that we beat huddesfield, when everyone said we were going to get "hammerd"C'MON YOU REDS
Northern Red Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 What's all the fuss about Rory Fallon ? He's produced for half a season, having been mediocre for about 5 years previously. I've never been overly impressed by him, and at £350k, Swansea have been well and truly conned, considering we paid £150k for Brooker, who is a far superior player in my opinion. Cracking bit of business by Swindon there.
RedTauntonian Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Why is everybody so downbeat expecting us to lose? Who cares if there in the area final of Ldv? Not me! Who cares that they beat us 7-1? Well ok i do, will stick in the memory for ever, worst game of football i've ever seen, but hey thats all in the past. So come on Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, lets get together and get bef=hind the lads and roar them on to victory! Come on you redddddddddsssssssss
