Guest Legend City Man Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Kick off should have been at 12pm.. wrong descision to have it at 3pm in my opinion especially with Cheltenham playing at home aswell..
cider head Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 the films messeage is to scare kids that if you go down that way of life thenyou could get really hurt or the out come could be death, so in a way thatis clever, however the reality of the film in parts is just way OTT.
Guest fattony Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 it's a good film but I'm going to watch city WIN not to beat any swansea fans 2 a pulp My words we'rnt aimed at genuine fans like yourself just at some of the minority that do want to smash some swansea fans to a pulp!

Guest fattony Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Surely, with your experiences you would know that the film was completely unrealistic. Only to the extent of organisation, things changed when fans start "tooling" up and not actually going to the game, There should be no place for violence, at the end of the day with all our love passion and wanting city to win it is only a game of football! You cant remember the bradford fan paralised by a city fan with a knife after the littlewoods cup quater final? it wasnt that un realistic wolf!

Guest MaloneFM Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 The most unrealistic thing about the whole film. The top lad? That munchkin kiddy from Lord of the Rings! HAH!

If you would have watched properly one of the GSE boys gets a call when they are on the train saying that the mancs were waiting.
Rich-TWSC- Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 The guy is a Geordie - Charlie Hunnam.Football hooligan films asa rule are stereotypical, tedious and glorifying of something the world wants to get rid of.The 80's are over... Move on.

Please guys watch this film before you chase the welsh! Got to disagree a bit mate, I thought 'Gren Street' was a poor film and not very realistic, as already mentioned the main character is a joke while the scene in the stadium with the steward and the railway station scene are just pathetic. A far superior film released about a year ago is 'Football Factory' I thought most of that was very close to reality.
BB. Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 At the end of the day, Green Street is a film. Most films are unrealistic in parts. I enjoyed it and if you take it for what it is and ignore the dodgy accents then you'll stand more chance of enjoying this film.ID is my favourate football hooligan film.

In the real world they would have been spotted by old Bill & CCTV, if they wanted to kick off, they would have kept incognito. :@ :@
