Looking at our squad we have two current loan players'

Fontaine-Left Sided CB

Green-Left Back/Left Midfield

Neither of whom has played and Green didn't make the squad last Saturday.

We are now looking at Dyer (apparently) Left Wing and have signed Easter, Striker.

How many do you think will start the game Saturday?

My guess, knowing GJ is.........none!

That's a shame because I for one would like to see us start with Dyer on the left & Murray on the right, with Easter on the bench, at least.

Based on his last two sub appearnces, Stewart deserves to start and if he doesn't at least make the bench, that will be the clearest indication to me that he's definetly not wanted.

Assuming Dyer doesn't sign in time, I reckon GJ will go with an unchanged team with the followings subs:

PHILLIPS

EASTER

FONTAINE

WILKSHIRE

STEWART

Dyer & Green will put huge pressure on Cotterill, Murray & Woodman for their places and according to GJ, Fontaine could replace Heywood or Carey if they are injured or out of form which, I suppose, in turn pressureises BO because LC can always switch to right back.

Let's see what these lads are like but the fact that we now have/ may have, two more options on the left is no bad thing.

On a slightly different note, did Bas Savage ever sign a contract ?

I remember reading he would get offered one to the end of the season but can't recall hearing if it was ever finalised...

GJ said he would have to earn it so maybe SL dosn't want to offer him a contract or GJ has decided not to. It is suspisous tha he hasn't got one yet.
