Chappers Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 We are in the bottom 4 of Div 3, so we are not a very attractive proposition for any player looking to advance his career. Also, GJ does not seem keen on signing established players and is only really looking for young up and coming players - Exactly the type who are unlikely to risk signing for us, and that will be in demand by other Clubs (As happened with Dyer). Being realistic, if we sign Hayter, if he has any sense, he will want a get-out clause in his contract in case we go down.I hope we get the right player, if not, by making a panic signing, we could end up a lot worse than if we just recall Gillespie, and give Benyon and Williams a go.
