The Fat Controller Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I struggle to understand how anyone at this level would pay that amount for a player in the current climate.£300,000 for Hayter, Bournemouth can keep him thanks.I'm sure we could pick up 2 or 3 players for that price.

Don't you mean British pound>Aww what's the matter, bothered about us "playing in an English league" just because we're in a better league position, have a better stadium and thrashed you 7-1?If you knew anything about football then you'd know that we were invited into the football league, just like the Scottish clubs were. Since we're not stupid we accepted at the opportunity of making extra money by playing more teams, and the fact that we'd be playing teams based in larger cities who would bring more fans. (mind you this doesn't apply to Bristol who brought few fans to our ground, maybe since you can't afford to travel since a lot of the Bristol population is on the dole or own farms so therefore can't afford to go ot matches!)Dear dear, don't they have any private schools in Engerland?

If your lot are so good, how come England has run Wales for 500 years or more? And if ya don't like playing English teams theres always TNS, or Canarvon Town.
