Bristol Boy Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 What's the current situation regarding CF?Is it still a loan until then end of Jan?I've a funny feeling that his move to PV will affect Brookers future.
kiwicolin Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 there was some talk about port vale makinga bid for him.

Let's just say that if CF joins PV Brooker's far more likely to leave.Clayton will be back and will be immense he will make us look like brazil again I wouldn't be surprised if he came back but GJ's no fan and he's out of contract at the end of the season so I would bet money that he isn't here for 2006/2007 season. He could well come good so I would rather sell him cheap now with a clause that ensuese us something in the future.

Colemanballs Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 That is some bizarre logic you've got there Do Port Vale have a sell-on for Brooker? Is BB suggesting that some deal may be done to waive the sell-on in return for CF?
Private Cider(cider army) Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Do Port Vale have a sell-on for Brooker? Is BB suggesting that some deal may be done to waive the sell-on in return for CF?Colemanballs gets the right answer......If port vale want to purchase Clayton then Lansdown will agree as part of the deal that Port Vale drop the sell on clause they currently have on Brooker. Therfore what i think Bristol Boy means is that if CF signs for PV and they drop the sell on then city are more likely to sell brooker and pocket all of the moeny to help clear the debt, rather than give PV a percentage.

I don't see why the Fortune deal will have any connection to a Brooker deal. You're clutching at straws Bristol Boy....everything that happens at Ashton Gate doesn't have to be a conspiracy!
