BIGPHIL Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Should we or should we not be wishing Swansea all the best for this fixture tomorrow (31st Jan), as a 2 goal win would mean we move up in the table with out kicking a ball.
Bristol Boy Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 With Gillingham having gone something like a year without a win, it will take something special for them to achieve it.They have to come to AG so I hope they don't do it then.On paper a Swansea win would do for me........and I suspect that's the end of the table GJ & SL are looking at.

Walsall game as well. Could have an important bearing on the table as they are both relativley close to us in points terms.
Guest Mikenoski Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I have a wager of 50 with a Gill's fan at work that City will finish above them this season...... It wasnt untill recently that any hopes I had have been rekindled. And wouldnt it be great to say that the dirty swans have helped move us up the table twice in one week
Guest heathma Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 We want a draw between Swindon and WalsallPlus just a one nil win for Swansea should let us leap frog Gillingham, as it would make our goal differences the same but we have scored more then them

How the hell did you know that?I'm off to the game with a Gills friend of mine. I'm hoping for a boring nil-nil. As then I can laugh at my Swansea friend shortly afterwards in the pub as it will be one win in 11 for the Swans I think.
red panda Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 We want a draw between Swindon and WalsallWhere's your ambition? We don't want a mere draw, we want:- a 36 man brawl, involving all the players, subs, managers and assistants;- several major pitch invasions;- one team's leading scorer attempting to kung fu kick a member of the crowd;- the other team's leading scorer "forgetting" to attend a random drugs test at the end of the match;- one or both teams fielding at least one player whose registration hasn't gone through;- the referee revealing after the match that one of the chairmen offered him £10,000 to fix the match. When he reported it, the other chairman simply offered to double it;- the taxman turning up at the end of the match demanding immediate payment of outstanding bills. Now that would be a result
Guest BCFCSteve Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Gillingham's away record is poor and I would expect and hope Swansea to beat them reasonably comfortably to aid our climb up the tableAs for Swindle I can see Walsall causing them a few problems but I think it will be a draw. Hopefully a Walsall win will make their win against Bournemouth seem a freak result rather than the start of recovery for them
