Bristol Boy Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 One change that would certainly help supporters to understand the goings on in the game more would be to rule that all "undisclosed" transfer fees had to be disclosed at the end of the season. Some clubs don't have a problem with disclosing fees at the time but, having just noticed that Hartlepool have turned down a Luton bid for Adam Boyd of £500k, it would be interesting for fans of those clubs to know the exact nature of the bid.Leahue rules state that fees have to be paid 50% down and 50% over twelve months, but far to often media speculation includes add ons and "might happen clauses."I know why, it makes good headlines. It also reassures the fans of both clubs that they are ambitious or ensuring that they get the most possible money for their players, if they do leave.Over to you

Bristol Boy Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 ..aswell as Other Clubs We've been here before..If you think the others clubs don't know then you are totally naive What difference would it make at the end of the season
