Guest mnporter2001 Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Manchester United have parted company with American striker Kenny Cooper. The powerful centre forward has featured regularly for the reserves at Old Trafford but has always looked some way off first team material. After loan spells with Academica in Portugal and Oldham Athletic, the 21-year-old is now free to find a new club.Stateside sources claim FC Dallas could make a move for the youngster but a deal with a lower division side in England is probably more likely.source=sky sportshe was released at 1.15pm todaysorry missed the "how about this" post still the guy looks good enough to do the business in our leagueAnd with this guy in mind what is laws on released players do they still fall under the transfer window ?i mean it woulnt be a transfer as such just a signing ..... ne one know ?

Most OAFC fans beleive he is awful.
Guest mnporter2001 Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 oh well best we give him a miss then.would still like to know if a released player falls under the transfer window policy though,if any one knows
Guest heathma Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I think its ok unless they played for there other club after the windowThats why we had a delay in signing Bas Savage because he had played for Coventrys reserves within the window and why Crewe had to wait to January to play Tony Grant because he played one game for usPlus why Roy Keane had to wait for his debut for Celtic
