Nibor Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I think we'll lose Wilkshire, Fortune, J Smith, G Smith, Brown, and Savage in the summer.A recognised and consistent left winger must be a priority. I reckon we'll also end up getting a full back for either side, a keeper and a midfield hard man as well as a pacy striker. That sounds like alot but it would only end up being a squad of 24.I would bet most will be free transfers. Not sure who from the 3rd year academy will make the step up... Benyon, Lamb and Wring are the only ones I've heard consistently good stuff about and isn't one of them out for quite a while injured?Nibor
Bristol Boy Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 Window still open. I don't think we'll get much in the next hour and a half, mate!
Nibor Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I don't think we'll get much in the next hour and a half, mate! Dunno, Martin Jol on Sky just now seems to think he can sign Danny Murphy in the next 90 minutes! Nibor

Unless SP moves we'll stick with the keepers we've got. That sounds like alot but it would only end up being a squad of 24.5/6 Out 5/6 In-seems about rightI would bet most will be free transfers.1/2 Fees, I reckon. Not sure who from the 3rd year academy will make the step up... Pickle Rick Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I don't think we'll get much in the next hour and a half, mate! Na bud, your completely wrong. I'm sure there are loads of deals still being considered and agents are having a very busy time. The window closes at midnight. Teams and players will make the most of this time.
Nibor Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Frankie Artus, pacy left winger! He's only a first year scholar though BB, he'd have to have a damned good pre season to make the jump that Cotterill did.Nibor
