Bristol Boy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I've noticed that almost every post about a player in whom we are interested will contain negative replys & comments about their attitude.Agogo, Parkin & Easter being prime examples.I tend to focus on form and record, however, I agree with GJ that attitude & "team ethic" is very important.I'm not saying the comments are right or wrong, but it's funny that if they've got such a bad attitude that managers like John Gorman & Peter Taylor would take them to their club or not know of the players reputation It could be that they believe that they can change that attitude and improve the player. That's a question of confidence in ones own ability.....Say what you like about GJ,he's not short of that Does the money available, even in the lower leagues, tend to foster a culture of greed and a couldn't care less attitude? If Grimsby did want £450k for Reddy as reported in the EP, then does that suggest that?Over to you.
