what the hell is going on at our club???

yesterday, we had OFFICALLY the worst strikers in the entire 4 english leagues, with a combind total of about 2 career goals between them, starting up front for us!!! and has a striker on the bench who has one of the best goal ratio's in the country!

I'm hoping johnson gets his head out of his arse and starts playing marcus. this is NOT another bas-v-marcus argument. this is purely a case of brooker being out injured so we go with our second best combination.

sort it out gary cus if we go down, this could be the beginning of the end for our great club

Nonsense, we have been much worse than this and come back

This club was on the way to being ruined when Lansdown appointed Tinnion. Problem is with Johnson things are not much better

Would that be the Tinman who brought in Lita from the Wonderland wilderness or the Tinman who tried to sort out the drinking/comfort zone culture?

Right man/wrong time.

Wonderland and his predecessors are the bigger mistakes.

I think that although I think GJ is a good manager and is the man for the job that him and Stewart for the good of the club need to get over there little spat and start getting professional with eachother.

You don't half talk some garbage:

we had OFFICALLY the worst strikers in the entire 4 english leagues
. Someone has conducted an "official" assessment have they?

this could be the beginning of the end for our great club
Please don't keep over dramatising things all the time. Are you looking for a job as a Eastenders script writer or something?

no but there are such things as statistics, try looking them up sometime.

and when i say the end of this club i mean that if we get relegated, which i now doubt we will with those useless players up front, we will be left to rote away at the bottom of english football getting ourselves in more and more debt cus we havent got enough loyal fans that will stick with us!

Nonsense, we have been much worse than this and come back

back then 1982 our debt was something like 500,000 ashton

gate to buy the lot and we bought

peacock and thorpe for more. this day and age we are talking millions

so not sure it would be that easy to recover from than in 82..

and yeah strikers are not all at fault the service to them is the

problem and i'm not sure why skuse starts ahead of wilkshire or

even scotty brown, i still think skuse is too light weight for a central

role.

must agree with you, god knows why wilkshire wasnt even on the bench let alone in the starting 11.

also, for us to survive in '82, those players threw their contratcs away for the sake of this club. i don't think there is a single player that would do that now adays

Wilson brought Lita in. Tinnion gave him more of a chance I agree, but he was older and had shown what he was capable of.

it's all down to Landsdown should never have sacked danny wilson, because since the sacking we have gone down hill

would that be the tinnion who sold every bit of quality we had because they were not his mates, the tinnion whos teams couldnt put 3 passes together.

face facts

if it was anyone other than tinnion, he would have gone half way through the first season.

Oh, the team that finished just outside the play offs last season?!

Lita going, that was a massive gap to fill. And we filled it with Bridges and Stewart who have not delivered.

Tommy D going was also a massive loss.

But when it all happend, I like everyone else was convinced it was the right way to go.
