Guest The_Boy Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 It is so satisfying to be part of a club that is clearly getting things right at the moment. Very few clubs (spare the real big fish!) can boast of the ability to win when not playing well and our doing this clearly shows we are destined to get out of this division sooner rather than later. A very optimistic post but when you look at the team today and Wilsons tactics the future for this season looks very bright. e.g. We aren't playing well and we have such quality players to bring on as Lita, Docherty and Brown who effectively win the game for us. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!
Port Said Red Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 When earlier in the season people were questioning why the "happy clappers" thought that some of sides would fall away and City would come on strong, a lot of us pointed at the squad. It is now proving to be true. Tell me another team in this league that wouldn't want the kind of quality we have brought off the bench in the last few game's, in their STARTING line up every week. I would guess that the only other forum that has valid argument's every day over the merits of 20 odd players are QPR, and with the injuries they are piling up they might even struggle. It's this strength in depth and ability to change thing's that will see us promoted.
Redminster Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 I was there today, and it wasn't pretty but it was effective. The defence looked reasonably solid and the front two were effective if unspectacular. A Posh fan in the Cherry Tree afterwards tried to convince me that there were only 600 City there today. B*****s! Good day out supplemented by the 3 points and the knowledge that QPR could only draw. We'll be in second before long
