Br 1st ol Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 I am sure it is stating the obvoius, but the championship is in our own hands...if we win our remaining games, it does not matter how qpr or plymuff do...we are champions...fact... It is on our own hands, we dont need to rely on others slipping up.... well done chaps...cant ask for anymore at the moment....
Br 1st ol Posted February 15, 2004 Author Posted February 15, 2004 True, but if we win all our games, they win all their games, it comes down to our matches against qpr and plymuff...which are at home...so if we win those.....
Guest exiledred Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 not sure we're going to win all our games til may but hey maybe!! We just have to keep it going, Ply still have two points on us so we need them to slip up at least once- not quite in our own hands just yet!! But auto promotion is! CTID
dragonreds Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 I still think it,s between us and QPR. Plymouth have done very well but they,ve overachived. I would love to see us crowned champions but with the signing of cureton and the other strikers Qpr aint going to make it easy
Guest Uxbridge Red Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 Sturrock is rumoured to be the acceptable replacement for Strachan at Southampton. Hoddle is still favourite but the opposition to him is huge, I was at St.Mary's for the last home game and what they were chanting about him wasn't pleasant!! Lets hope Sturrock does go there, can't see it helping Plymuff at all if he does! The original poster is spot on though, if we win all our games we will be champions as both QPR and Plymouff have to travel to AG yet. CTID
Guest cider gliders Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 It be in our hands now, we be sure we`ll go on and win the championship now! Great win yesterday without playin` that well, but we be more than on the march now! Move over Plymouth, your on our perch! UP THE CITY!
