Never to the dark side Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 I know that Nationwide don't like giving the same manager consecutive manager of the month awards Is thier any competion for Danny not to get another award The only competion is Colchester who have had good runs in the LDV and FA Cup
A Horse With No Name Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Then its not a Manager Of the Month award then, is it? They should award it to whoever deserves it, regardless of how many times they already have it. Aside from that, I think Andy King at Swinedon will have a chance.
Claverham_Red Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 don't forget that there is still two more games to go in the month so city could win them both, could lose, could draw them so there there is still a lot to play for for the remainder of the month
Stoke_Gifford_Red Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 It is definately between Danny, Andy King and possibly the Chesterfield manager. Chesterfield are doing quite well recently and they were on the bottom of the table very recently.
bcfcchris2016 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 has any bristol city managers won two manager of the months in a row, if so we have another record to show off to q.p.r and plymouth, maybe swindon. keep dreaming it can happen. we won 3 away games all this month

Guest Rob Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Agree, although Brian Little might be in with a chance if Tranmere win their games too. Yeah Brian Little what with the cup win AND the win against Plymouth i'd consider him to be a strong contender. But not a patch on DW at the moment.
tompo Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Yeah Brian Little what with the cup win AND the win against Plymouth i'd consider him to be a strong contender. Guest redrobin108 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 It normally goes on points won during the month, if we win both then danny should win it again, it would be a magic 12/12.
Guest uncle john Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Manager of the month is done solely on adding up the results, nothing more, nothing less. A computer could do it, and you can usually predict it if you've been following results. All depends how we do in the next two games in February.
