cityboy
They're talking rubbish. EE holds 5500 not 2500, 2500 is how many tickets away teams get allocated as a minimum FA requirement.

We don't have to give 2,500 because the limit for league games is something ;ike 5% of total capacity, we don't even HAVE to give 2,500 for cup games when the allocation must be a minimum of 10% of total capacity, so would be about 1800 if they take into account restrictions, or 2,100 if they take total capacity. cheshire_red
It it is 5% then 1,200 is actually in excess of that figure.

Wrong. Home teams are under no obligation to give away fans any tickets at all.

Perhaps you should tell our commercial manager that as he seems to think that we need to give out a minimum of 2000 to meet FL requirements.... http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...t=0entry38547 Also, if you'd care to look up FL regulation 31.2.1 you'll find that a minimum of either 2000 tickets, or 10% of total capacity (if less than 20000) are to be provided to the away team..... We only have to give them that if they want it/use it. Also is it 2000 we have to give or 1800 because of the limits to the amount of people we are allowed in the ground (segregation, council rules etc.)
Guest BCFC Matt
"At the moment our plan is to limit QPR/Plymouth to 2,000 tickets thereby using the rest of the East End for home fans. However, the practical capacity for the East End (with home and away fans) would be 3,500, bearing in mind the number of exits ets. Therefore, we would hope to allocate 1,500 seats to City fans on the same basis as now i.e. season ticket holders swap and others buy. This plan will, of course, be subject to police and local authority approval, so it is not definate." Colin Sounds hopeful that City fans will be allowed in the Eastend for Plymouth and QPR games! cheshire_red
Exactly my point, with Argyle fans having been told that tickets will be limited it is obvious that the intention is to split the East End!! Permission obtained of course.
Percy Parrot
We need tickets to sell fast though- so a) the club DOES give us the East End and not get tempted by the extra £. and b) so that Pmuff fans don't start buying in home sections. All non-ST holders, start buying your tickets now! I'm reasonably confident we'll get the Eastend.
