City Rocker
Are you being ironic? (Only Bristol is well known for being one of poorest educational spots in the country) Strange that, as one of the reasons cited in a recent Government study for Bristol being the most affluent city in the UK outside of London, is that it is: "in the premier league of academia, with many top students choosing to adopt the city as their long-term home, drawn by its style, culture and quality of life. Thus, education has a significant influence on city's commercial success and may be cited as one reason why so much knowlege-based industry thrives there." Swindon, on the other hand, is a right old s###hole, isn't it?

Swindon, on the other hand, is a right old s###hole, isn't it? And how many people from Bristol go to Bristol University? How many Bristol kids actually get their basic GCSE's? Only 35.3% of Bristol Pupils achieve 5+ A to Cgrade GCSEs, the figure in Wiltshire is 57.6%. The National average 52.9%. That was my point, not that fact that you have some uni full of outsiders, having a uni based there doesn't make the rather dumb local population based there any brighter does it (clearly!)! Guest WillsbridgeRed
I love the way you use the results from schools that are nearly all inner City. Shows how small time your manor is when Bristol has its own council and you come under a county.

These particular ones ignore the demographic of the big cities compared to the small towns and, needless to say, have no bearing on the relative intelligence of the populations in question. Swindon is merely a dull, mediocre town devoid of anything like the cultural diversity of Bristol and therefore without the social extremes. And most certainly without the, quote, "style, culture and quality of life". Lots of roundabouts though so, um, credit where it's due
Never to the dark side
Why oh Why do opposistion fans come on here and end up making fools of them selves and the team thet alledgly support They should remember thier are no freinds on most opposistion boards if you support another team We (Bristol City) are the enemy to any non Bristol City fan and poster. I have no interest in going on another teams web sight and post messages So the Swindon message board must be full of boring swindon fans. Were you one of the 100 so called fans that attended the question and answer session at your dump last thursday Andy King said one thing he dislked was earings on footballers I think we can use that in the futre. 7,000 odd last match. A disgrace considering no top flight football your recent succes's Brentford just down the road maybe they thought watching rugby was a better and cheaper option. Any way Swindon is full of ex cockney thats why your post code is similar to londons S= Saff London N= Norff London Your nick name should be nomads Merdian thinks it covers Swindon ITV West thinks it covers swindon but you are a Midlands side cos out side your stand it says Central TV So trundle back home on yer orse and kart

SwindonBob
Getting back on topic and trying to avoid the slanging match, it might just be that your tickets are not on sale yet because the game is still a month away. I'm sure you will sell through your 3,300 allocation quite quickly.
