jimmer007
Beat me to posting this-Scott Murray is back to his best, he's lost a bit of pace but is playing the best since his return -No doubt about!I hold my hands up and admit i thought the Murray of old was finished, But I'm so happy to see him Flying again.Scott Murray is a City Legend!when all the city fans were saying murrays lost it, hes past it etc, i didn't think so. he was lacking confidence and we all know what a confident scott murray can do. he has lost a little pace but his crossing against coventry second half (at our place) was some of the best crosses i had seen him produce.now his confidence has returned the crowd are on the edge of their seats every time murray has the ball, and the defences he plays against are running scared again and its great seing such a transformation.also murray has become more clever in the runs he makes, and at and the minute is all over the pitch chasing everything which reitterates his commitement to the clause.surely now come the end of the season he will be given a new contract, at least i hope so because once he goes he will be impossible to replace imho. 054123
when all the city fans were saying murrays lost it, hes past it etc, i didn't think so.Good on you Jim Ross, your medals in the post.To be fair, i don't think at Murray's age (coupled with some lack luster performances) anyone would have been wrong to question whether the end was nigh, however fair play to the flying scotsman for knuckling down and fighting his way back into the team. Just the sort of player and attitude that i think we all want to see (including Johsnon). As i've said before, all Johnson demands is fight and commitment and he'll give you a chance, Orr and Murray are excellent examples of this.Precisely all the things Phillips lacked, hence his exit. BCFC Grim
Murray seemed to be the scapegoat at the start of the season, and it nothing for his confidence. Hes a confidence player, and his last six games is Murray of old. If he carries on like this till may, hes bound to get a new contract.
Robbored
Murray has said plenty of times that he's a confidence player and since he started finding the net more regularly his self belief has come gushing back.We wouldn't have seen the Murray of last season or even earlier this season scoring a goal like the one last night. It was very cool finish from a very confident player. We all remember the 26 goal Murray of a few seasons ago and he was something else that season.Everytime he got the ball the AG crowd felt that something was going to happen and he frequently provided the goods.I don't think he's anywhere near the form he showed then but its tremendous to see him heading in the right direction.A super confident and super fit Murray is a real treat to watch.
