The decision is tonight whether the sags and the rugby club get their 18,000 seater stadium. If so the rugby will be sharing with us for 18 months. To be honest i know its more money for SL, but we don't wana play on a ######ed up pitch every week!! could even effect our game in certain ways! also could be calling off a few games, as i think if the rugby wasnt played our game with brighton probably wouldnt of been called off! what does evry1 else think of this???

Their rent should allow us to:

Install a pitch like Wycombes-Yes Fourth Division Wycombe Wanderers!

£250k

Undersoil Heating

Impossible to take a divot out of

Rugby & Football every week

1.7 million artificial fibres that bind it together

On a 12" Bed of Sharp Sand

Commercial problems-Commercial answers.

Only then and on the basis of a minimum profit on cost of 10% over and above that, should we proceed.

Any chance of a job Steve :whistle2:

I don't think it will effect the pitch that much, doesnt effect Wycombe and Readings pitch like you said.

Only good for the city (of bristol) in whole.

spot on, Wycombe and Reading have invested the money into the pitch and have no problems with the football, similarly Watford and Hull have no problems dealing with Football & Rugby, IF the rugby club are willing to invest in the pitch to ensure it can handle both sports, I don't see a problem, City can gain, but it's down to two boards to sit down and discuss it.

Reading had the only postponement in the Premier League a couple of weeks ago prompting manager Steve Coppell to complain about the rugby ruining the pitch...
