Guest Jan Mollars Gloves
After many simular situations we never seem to get the ticketing situation right when it comes to any big games. You would have thought we would have learnt from previous experiences. We could well be heading for the Championship, but we need match on the field efforts with far more professionalisum off it.I think Wolves have got it spot on & they didn't know they were through until the same night as us.But as someone said on a different thread, as far as the club are concerned they have had an unbelievable rush today & do they care who they sell the tickets to?http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lat...,,10307,00.html

Guest yeovilmac
This isn't going to help your cause at all but speaking as an outisder, this seems like a bizarre way of dishing out the tickets. We drew Liverpool at home in the FA Cup 2004. Obviously with a sell-out guaranteed ( our capacity is 9,400 ) clamour for tickets was high. Going from memory, this is how we did it.First call went to STH's who, IIRC, could buy two (?) tickets each. We had c3,000 STH's then so if everyone took their option out, there goes 6,000 for a start. Another 1,500 tickets were reserved for the away end leaving c1,900 tickets for general sale. The club decided to make it a condition that you had to have nine different ticket stubs for every ticket you wanted - regulars got priority in other words. I wanted one each for the wife and two kids so I had to dig out thirty six stubs. Folk made our forum like Swap Shop, a new sub forum started up, "I'll swap you a Rushden for a Cambridge", unbelievable scenes really. At least 95% of the regulars got in anyhow.Couldn't take the chance as a non-STH living in Bristol to miss the game so I queued up with hundreds of others from 8.30pm Saturday night until 9.15am Sunday morning when the ticket office opened - presented my 36 stubs and all was well.Poor show somewhere along the line though, good luck on the day, all at Yeovil wish you in the FA Cup as long as possible! Guest yeovilmac
Now thats what I call dedication.Cracking night Dave to be honest. The players came back from the away game at Swansea and couldn't believe there were people in the queue already. It was ######ing cold too - I couldn't feel my feet by morning, mind you I haven't seen my feet in years as well....
