MYK
In Friday's Evening Post Colin Sextone say's "As well as our 8,000 season ticket holders we have another several thousand on our database who attend on a regular basis without being season ticket holders. We have to ensure that we play fair by them".My name is on that database and I've given BCFC my name for every ticket I've bought at the ground this season. BCFC know which games I've been to....but, with reference to Mr. Sextone's statement above......I wasn't asked for my name when buying my ticket for Boro. So, at the end of the day....BCFC won't know that I attended.Database? Did anyone here who bought tickets, give their names? It would appear that Mr. Sextone has used this as an excuse towards unhappy season ticket holders struggling to buy their tickets. MYK
I believe that they can identify you by your postal address/credit card.I paid £34 in cash for 2 Atyeo stand seats. They took no details from me...... so they will have no record of me being at the Boro' game.In fact.....The BCFC database will have me marked down as not being there. My point was.....Sextone was using his Database Customers as an excuse as to why BCFC sold the tickets in the manner that they did. I'm saying to Mr. Sextone......That's just not the case.
ballwinningcentrehalf
I went with a mate of mine to get tickets for the Coventry game at the Ricoh the day before the match. When he was buying the ticket he was asked for his surname and postcode from which the person serving us could bring up his details from the 'database'.The thing is though, she couldn't tell us how long he'd been on there, or what games he'd bought tickets for, just that he was on there. In fact it had been his first City game since having a season ticket about 3/4 years ago.Does that mean he is more highly valued/recognised by the club than the anonymous person who comes and buys a ticket on the day of the game every other week? That, in my mind, is wrong.(
