Jevons

Andrews

Myrie Williams

Now then, question time,thrill seekers!!

Will we sign:

a.Taller Striker.

b.Smaller Pacy guy, who can also play right wing.

c.Both

On the left winger do we:

a.Still need one?

b.Not need one now that Wilson's here?

c.Not need one because we've got Wilson & Scott Brown will be back and we can bring in an emergency loan if Scott leaves?

The above includes loan signings and permanent.

Over to you!

I'm going for C & C.

Guest BCFC Matthaus

We need to sign someone who when he is interviewed and asked for his prefered position in the team, his reply will be: "Left wing".

Wilson, Showumni, Myrie-Williams, Murray, Jevons, Brown have all played out on the left this season with varying degrees of success - but not a single one of them would put left wing as their favoured position.

We've added pace with Andrews (and possibly Wilson though I've only seen a few minutes of him) but I'm not sure Andrews will be a long term player for us, I think he's just cover for Jevons. I'd like to see us bring in a younger quick striker permanently and if they can also cover Murray who will play less games next season even if he gets a new deal that would be great.

We definitely need another left footed player despite Wilson's signing, as Matthaus says someone who considers that their position rather than being able to just do a job there. Long term I see Wilson playing right back and from reports he's probably enough for this season. I don't think Brown has a future at the club, GJ doesn't seem to want to keep him.

I'll go for b) and d) still need one but won't get one until the summer.

We will sign one striker/right winger and I wouldn't be shocked to see another striker (Stronger Striker with some pace) as a money signing or long term loan, relatively soon after.I don't think that will be the young French lad on trial, although he may well join our reserve ranks.

Andrews, I would guess, will return to Coventry after a months loan unless their new manager really doesn't rate him or they turn the corner with the three or four strikers they've got.Pity because he'd be handy as a loan player until the end of the season.

One would hope that six strikers should be enough in any event.
