Dorset_Cider
We'd played that Brighton Side (from last night) a few years ago at the Millenium............ ?Still pains me to even think of that day Do it City....... we want up, it's not much to ask for all those years?Even my kids have been going to school rightly proud of the team they support recently..... there is a buzz about BCFCDon't let em down eh?Believe me it's not easy living in Dorset / Poole and supporting Bristol City FC........... I know I lived it when I was at school over 28 years ago.......COME ON YOU REDS! as my Dear old 'Nan Bristol' used to sayCity Supporting Family since Pre 1908 . and Our Current Boys Need to understand that........... the beat goes on and I know it's not just us but it's many of us. We are Born to City as we have never considered any other option because we know in our heart of hearts that the only team worth our support is Bristol City FC
cidercity1987
To be honest I don't think we'd have won that day even if we were playing Yate Town. We lost so much goodwill and support that fateful Sunday, but now I think a lot of them are returning. Even on this forum there seems to be new names posting everyday, so hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves on Saturday and carry on this momentum. Up the City! I have stated on this forum at the time and after (?) that neither team was any good or deserverd anything in that game........ but the point I was making is what 'IF' we'd played that B&H A team ...........we'd have had a couple of seasons if not more in division two 'Championship' if we had played the Brighton & Hove Albion side we played last night and things could have been so different.... Reality check ...... we didn't but hey that does not alter my thinking..... yeh get meh?Again granted............. we lost and they won the game but..?I'm not crying over spilt milk.. but it's another reminder of what could have been........ so don't blow it this time BCFC.... Automatic is the way not the pray-off's right I know it was the JPT but if we can just keep doing what we have been doing in the league then we will all have something to shout about?
