Enoch Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Do u think that Keogh deserves a run in the side? Another great performance puts him in a good postion to stay in the sidewho would u prefer
bristolborn_and_red Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 It would be an injustice if Keogh was dropped unless he has a real howler at Blackpool. Its quite simple, if you come into the side, play well then you keep your place. Last night, he was outstanding.
Waffleflap Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I'm a big fan of both keogh and carey but i would drop keogh at the moment because the boy is quality. He plays like he has been in the game for years and can read the game very well.Personally i would only change russell for a striker. Noble deserves a place also.
Bristol Boy Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Both are fine players, however, Keogh is a lot younger.Keogh deserves to stay in the team after his two recent performances against Boro and perhaps that'll teach LC not to get booked as much!!
Guest You Know I Am Right Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 don't forget fontaine! not that he is likely to take carey or mccombes place but not a bad quality 4th choice centre half

Why the negative bench though? Why not a second attacker in JMW or Andrews? Wilson might be useful on the bench?
Guest OmegaSnake Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 It's a shame we can't have both, both quality players IMO. Atleast it's good that we have good cover in that position at the moment, and seem to be willing to fight for a place.
Collis Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Carey Keogh Mccombe Mcalister.I would drop Orr.Queue barrage of abuse.
exiledinwatford Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Carey Keogh Mccombe Mcalister.I would drop Orr.Queue barrage of abuse. Another booking - it won't be long before someone else has to play right back anyway. GJ prefers Keogh at RB with Carey at CH. Not sure I agree though .

Not sure I agree though .I just remember the season before Carey went to Coventry, he was class at right back and it always clouds my judgement. You have to say that Keogh is a massive prospect and its practically a crime that we are not giving him enough first team action to develop as a player.

Always seems to have a smile on his face enjoying his football - I think he knows he has a good future here. Obviously didn't fit in with Pulis
Fodbarmyarmy Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Keogh without doubtDoes not captain Paddy U21 for no reasonHas a Football maturity that belies his youth - and as someone has already pointed out - always plays with a smile and enjoyment (did you notice the little joke with Yakubu while waiting for a throw in not long after he missed his ET pen - even Yakubu had to smile back at him so god knows what he said to him)The only puzzle is who he replacesCAREY or ORR - Is Keogh better at CB or RB?
dezgimed Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Defense has been pretty bad really until Tues, give Keogh a run I say.Carey is getting petulant with old age.
Guest avidcity Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Id go along with dropping Orr too.Keogh and Carey both class. Carey was faultless against Boro at the gate
