ok were a 3rd div team and last nights performance was very good

BUT, did you get a bit sick of all the giant killing crap.

after all, its only realy about money, boro are only a bigger club than us because of it.

if we had there investment and they had ours, we would be in the prem with bigger crowds than they get.

I got frowned upon by some people at AG when I wrote that the only differene between us and Bolton, Reading, Wigan, Blackburn & Boro was leadership.

Even moreso when you look at Watford, who, whilst looking like having a swift return, have at least attained Premiership status twice whilst we've languished in this awful division for most of the last fifteen years or so.

When I look at what Colchester are doing this year, I could cry.

To be fair BB, I think the millions of Madjeski, Whelan, Walker and Gibson are more relevant in the cases of Reading, Wigan, Blackburn and Boro.

Even Watford probably get the odd million thrown in by Elton.

But I have been taking a keen interest in what Colchester have been doing this season, and I would absolutely love it if they went up, because it would show what can be achieved by the smallest of clubs.

I think the example of Colchester, Crewe, and in previous seasons Rotherham, Gillingham etc, demonstrates that it is possible to achieve without loads of cash, and whatever it is they have had, we haven't had it.

I agree Nick but why has that type of chap never appeared in the lands eighth largest City.In fairness, although they had a new ground, I don't think Wigan spent a huge amount more than us in getting to the Prem and the same applies to Reading

As far as I'm aware he hasn't put money in for years

Spot On-I'd just like to see Maurinho & Co turn up at Layer Rd
