Certianly this season Keogh has become a bit of a cult hero with his commited perfomances.

Is his contract up at the end of the year? If it is we defnitly need to renew it, he is young and only liekly to improve.

Keogh Keogh Keogh Keogh!!

Big Man Stu,

this lad is going to be a star and IMO will play at the very top

He's definatly one of my favourites. I just wish we could play Keogh, Carey, McCombe and McAllister together more often.

But that means dropping The Orr. Not easy.

Keogh is still young he is outstanding though I will give you that however right now I think he is better being back up to Carey. Carey is what 30 now? So will only have 3-4 years left in him most probably by that time Keogh will be more than ready to step into his boots.

I have to admit I am delighted with Keogh though, he came with mixed words from the Stoke fans that are in the know and I was not to sure but once again Tinnion seems to have proved that he can pick good young talent from the higher clubs production lines.

I do belive that he will play at a higher level, either with us or another club.

We Christened Keogh CRAZY HORSE" some time back, as he's got that same spirit as old Emlyn had, and seems to get stronger as the game goes on, surging through the mud and guts !

Hail the Crazy Horse !

I think that we should make McCombe captain next season and play keogh instead of carey.

Louis is getting a bit old now, and i think Keogh has been outstanding for us this season!

Carey at 30, may last another 3 years, however Keogh 21, is unlikely to remain in his shadow for another 3 years.

IMO, Keogh defends as well, does more with the ball, and attracts fewer yellow/red cards.

Carey has given his all for City, however over the past year, his game has developed more niggle and dissent. The cards Carey attracts, will end up ensuring Keogh takes on a more permanent role.

I would not be surprised if GJ is counting on it.

Hmmm good point I guess.

However, back at the start of last season I felt Carey was shocking, I really would have driven him out of the club, however from Christmas 2005 on wards he impressed me no end.

He is fantastic at times, I hope people don't forget that to quickly. Half the time when the team on the back foot it seems like he is leading the attack and getting foward. Only me that sees that?

Keogh has improved so much this season and is definately one of my favourites. It's so nice to see him play with a smile and his enthusiasm for the game is a pleasure to see. I'm sure that given time he will be the first name down on the teamsheet.

I don't think Keogh is ready to fill careys boots yet!!

Carey has been brilliant for City.

I just think Keogh has become a bit of a fans favorite and i think he's brill! WHen he scored agianst Gillinagham and did his air guitar celbration-was brilliant!

Anyone know when his contracts up?

Hes been a cult hero since he got a ball in the balls at Bath City on his debut and laughed about it for 45 minutes.

:clapping:

Haha I remember this , he was shaking his hands about incontrollable , was so funny !

Keogh doesn't have to fill Careys boots just yet. I reckon he'd do a better job at right back than Bradley Orr any day. Before anyone says ' Well thats not his best position etc, etc ' I think its worth remembering that Bradley Orr started out at this club as a central midfielder if I'm not much mistaken !

fair play to keogh. against coventry at home in the 3rd round of the cup, he got ripped apart and was at fault for two of the goals. he could of really let this get to him and went of the rails slightly.

instead, he has knuckled down and has worked very hard on the points of his game that needed improving. by far probably young player of the year so far.

but carey and mccombe are first choice and so it would appear is orr at right back. but its nice to know we have someone of keoghs ability as back up. and who knows, continue how he is and a guaranteed place in the starting 11 cant be to far away
