Guest Jethro T. Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I am seeing a worrying yet familiar trend here. Inconsistency! We seem to do this every year. Missed chances up front, and elementary mistakes at the back. This will cost us promotion this season, once again. Blackpool are all over us at the moment. Basso keeping us in the game. We had a good run in the cup, and I watched the game on Fox here in the States. City looked impressive, and easily matched 'boro with their passing game. I wish City could play like that in the league. If GJ can't find a way to eliminate these basic mistakes at the back, and also find us a consistent goal scorer, we will remain in this div for yet another season.
cidercity1987 Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Quite an even half by the sounds of it. We really need something out of the game today though because we have slipped considerably lately. But if we score 3 without reply in the second half then this thread will look a little silly.

Results have to be grinded out and aren't always the pretiest of matches. If promotion were to be gained, that is where we will see alot more of the flowing short-quick passing game, against opposition who play with the same style. If we can win today, I'll be delighted...we just need to build an unbeaten run now - every point counts! Come on City!
