leadman Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 i should imagine bpool will feel a bit unlucky, they did enough for a point i spose.who cares, we won, we battled and with the ammount of swapping about due to injurys, i rekon it rivaled oldham as a performance.brooker looked out on his feet at ht nevermind the end, andrews suffered with cramp with about 15 mins to go.cant realy slate anyone, woody still looks of the pace but got better as the game went on, they had 3 decent chance in injury time and hit basso twice and put another just over the bar.top performance, we now need a home win to make all this hard work worth while.andrews tormented jackson for the whole game, he was my mom today.
reddogkev Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 That win today was huge for the continued confidence of the players and the assault on the title.Thank god we have avenged the earlier beating handed out from Blackpool at Ashton Gate earlier in the season. Now the gap between top and us looks well within our reach, and if we can keep giving resolute performances like this away from the Gate, especially in our next league game at Brighton, we will easily challenge for the top two places.
Guest Redphiil Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 We will need the full squad as we play twice weekly upto Forest come here ( unlikely) on 31st March. There are some tricky long away trips. WE will need all the squad to get us through. I guess Johnson was very pleased to get the points today after Tuesdays strength sapping efforts
deadratinmycider Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 It's a huge win, we were in danger of falling away from the top two but now we are rightback in there. At this stage of the season it doesn't matter how you win. 3 points is 3 pointsand considering all the re-shuffles we had to do during the game, the lads done well.
