Noticed that Brighton's form since Ol' Baz has joined them has picked up, and he is credited with being the catalyst to their thumping Orient win and as having played a great game against Forest.

He already has one goal and two assits (possibly three, depending on you view of the Forest winner) in just two starts and a sub appearence. Only wish he'd been that prolific with us! :whistle2:

Since facing Brighton have lost only one match, with the other games being two goalless draws and two impressive wins in their last two games.

Is it just me who is worried that 'Bambi' might reap terrible vengence on a City team with a derb cup hangover this saturday..? :shocking:

well hes 13/2 to score first and 7/4 to score at anytime, shocking odds considering his goalscoring record

Depends on how you look at it, cause although it took him ages to net for us, at each club since he has brought down the number of games it takes him to score.

1 in 23 for us, 1 in 14 for Gillingham, 1 in 4 for Brighton and (according to his profile on Brightons site) 1 in 1 for Walton & Hersh this season! :noexpression:

Maybe he is realising his true potential! :shocking:

The script is written.

Personally I thought he was unfortunate not to earn a year's contract at City. His displays of skill were as perplexingly good on some occasions as they were perplexingly bad on others.

But there's no doubting that he did what GJ looks for in that he had an impact and affected the game. I don't think it's any coincidence that our results imrpoved with him in the team. Good honest workrate was what he gave, and what some players with more obvious skill had failed to give.

I tend to agree. Came in at a difficult time and was a bit of a scapegoat, despite his appearence coinsiding with improved results.

Bet Forest and Orient (and Brighton for that matter) will be scratching their heads as to why we let him walk away.

And with the Big Show and Brookerman's appearence records this season we could have done with his presence once or twice this term. However, let us hope he is more like a deer on ice than a charging buck this coming weekend!

When we played and beat BHA on two occassions this season, I felt that they lacked a physical presence up front and Bas is certainly that.

He can hold the ball up as well as anyone and his work rate and first touch are also far better than people credit him for.I just hope he's still missing his shooting boots and his ar$e still goes when it sight of goal.

A win against the vagabonds, some fresh legs and we should be good enough for at least a point if not all three and he must be the ideal guy for McCombe to mark.

Saw his recent goal for Brighton - it was actually a decent finish.

Clearly not the most gifted player we've ever had, but was far more effective than many supposedly superior players I've seen. Seemed a nice guy as well, unlike several players (not referring to our current squad) who think they're God's gift just 'cos they score a couple in Division 3.

He's getting a bit of exposure on Soccer AM at the moment due to his Moonwalking goal celebration exploits.

So I make that 4 in 45. Terrifying.

Don't mind if he scores againset us Saturday.......As long as we score more.

Big Baz deserves all the credit he's getting at the moment.
