Never to the dark side Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I think most footy fans will be watching the Man Utd gameRadio Bristol has decided that the entire west country wants to listen to Yeovil Town on the FM frequenceys as well as the DAB frequenceyThe sooner that Bristol gets its independance from Yeovil Town won't be a day too soon
Dogbert Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I think most footy fans will be watching the Man Utd gameI suspect a lot round here couldn't care less about Man U and are far more interested to know whether one of our local rivals can get back above us in the league.I know which I care about more.
samo Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I think most footy fans will be watching the Man Utd gameOr the Arsenal game.Or listening to the Celtic match.Or the Brimingham/Sunderland game.Or their local side on their local station. Not bothered about Man U myself nd wouldn't imagine alot of others are!

Guest yeovilmac Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Another brilliant post from NTTDS. Most of us on here are footie nuts and want to listen to football rather than some dull-as-dishwater DJ spinning toons from decades ago. Why should it be Man United? If they're on telly, then they don't need to be on the LOCAL radio as well, I would imagine their game was ably covered on Radio 5Live anyhow.Yeovil have many, many fans in Bristol now. I could easily name 25/30 supporters here now who follow us from BS15 / BS32 / BSwherever you care to mention....why can't we get covered? I suspect that if Radio Briz covered Man Utd last night, you would have started a thread entitled "Why are Radio Bristol covering Man United..."The sooner that Bristol City gets its independence from Never To The Dark Side won't be a day too soon.
