Ok, at half time we're sitting 3 points from auto promotion with a game in hand and a better goal difference than 2nd placed Forest.

BUT what would really put the cherry on the cake would be for Bournemouth, Blackpool and Swansea to just nick a goal or two and it would all be so much better!

Should be an interesting hour!

Huddfld 1-1 with their centre half, Holdsworth sent off!!

Huddersfield have just knicked a 2-1 lead with 10 men. Rotherham look doomed.

Port Vale and Crewe are doing the buisness for us! PV now 2-0 up against Oldham and Crewe pinning back Donny by a goal!

And Port Vale beating Oldham by 3 goals now! Some good news when nothing else is going our way anyway!

Plus Oldham's keepers been sent off for violent conduct! A nice three match an for a player who looked very good against us! :chant6ez:

Blackpool Equalise against Forset in the 90th Minute

from Brightons site:

A first half solo effort from Bas Savage gave the Seagulls a hard-fought victory tonight at the Priestfield Stadium.

The former Gills striker silenced the home crowd in the 18th minute, lashing the ball past Romain Larrieu after a powerful run from the half-way line.

I worried now :shocking:

at the end of play we've dropped to 5th

BUT

we're only 2 points off 2nd with a game to play AND also have an 8 point barrier between ourselves and 7th place.

Onlt worry is we head to Brighton on sat with them on a 3 match winning run and a certain Baz Savage esq on hot form!

A very good evening for us I'd say. Of the teams were interested in Yeovil won, Doncaster lost, Forest drew with Blackpool, Oldham lost, Swansea lost to S****horpe and Tranmere drew. So were still only 2 points off automatic with a game in hand. Also none of the sides chasing the play offs won so our chances of at least being in the play offs look healthier.

The way I look at it, if we had a league game tomorrow, we could win it and go 2nd with the same number of games as the others. Scunny for me look up as I can't see their form being 5 points worse than the challengers. So it looks like there's 4 teams contesting that 2nd place including us. We just need a massive unbeaten run and anything's possible. I also think we'll beat the Gas tomorrow and Brighton on Saturday (despite super Bas Savage!)

I confidently predict we'll go up in 2nd. :innocent06:

Forest were eight points clear at one time, so things can change quickly in this Division.

S****horpe will be OK unless they get injuries to Sharp in particular or to key central defenders.Having said that, we said the same the year Rotherham got promoted and it never happened.

It's all about how WE do from here on in and if we stay reasonably free from injury & suspensions, then we have every opportunity with the JPT Final, hopefully, as a welcome distraction and a handy £500k.
