In a total state of SHOCK!

I feel completly robbed on value for money to watch this performance for high wages. Forget Rovers they had to get the result they did but this was City's evening to demonstrate why they are in fact paid more money and playing in a higher league. (what do you think?)

Brooker was the only one who could at least run and seem interested and was unlucky sometimes. You might as well put twenty players in the middle circle and lob the ball for the luckiest man to break free! How many TIMES DO THE SUPPORTERS NEED TO TELL THE MANAGEMENT THAT WE NEED A LEFT WINGER.

We have not lost yet but this result could cost the club a real treasure booty not to mention a day out at Cardiff which the supporters will not forget if robbed through this display.

Surely Woodman, Skuse and Johnston should not see the inside of the Memorial stadium. Gary Johnston has apologised for the terrible display but he must see his motivation is not been carried out by the players and that is the very worrying. Brighton have won two games on the trot now and we will see what motivation is about on saturday afternoon.

Finally Gary I think it is about time to unload some players and replace them with fighters.

A.K.T.

Funny how people see things differently. I thought Brooker looked well off the pace and didn't put himself about as much as he normally does.

Noble & keogh? Noble rarely wastes possesion and Keogh is a battler, either of the two for our MOM last night, Brooker looks a long way from match fit, failed to hold the ball up effectively, although was unlucky not to score when he hit the post.

Murray was lively before being crocked and we have several players cup tied, McCombe injured, McAllister banned - it's not all bad, I really don't care about this cup, but I do want us to get out of this division!!!

Firstly....learn the managers name, eh?

Secondly... I'm not sure how anyone can be shocked at our inability to break them down. Disappointed yes, but shocked? We always struggle to break down teams that come to the Gate and shove eleven men behind the ball. If we'd managed to sneak an early goal and forced them out a bit you'd have seen a different game altogether.

I concede we need to work on finding that "punch" to break through defensive teams as it is where we're usually found wanting, but i still think we have enough in the bag, with the players we had out there yesterday, to produce a result next week.

have faith!

and just to point out another flaw, Brighton have won three ames on the trot.

agree Brooker was poor last night, unlike on saturday where he quite simply battered Blackpool's defence into submission.

he's been out for a while (how many times have we said that this season) so 2 games in a week is alot, hopefully he can STAY fit now for a while and with games be back to his best.

yep, and thanks to a key player for them called Bas Savage, who is really playing well down there.
