Bristol Boy Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Ah well, looks like McAllisters injury coincided nicely with his suspension Weales played one game, is out injured and needs an op in the summer (Unrelated).Russells got a hamstring strain and at 33 that's going to probably be 3/4 weeks,McCombe's hurt his hip, he would have been ideal against Bas, but at least we've got decent cover, Showunmi's had a two/three week groin strain-we've signed another striker, go figure and Murray's has had a scan that has revealed no fracture and Murray, once again, a senior player will, I'm guessing, miss at least 2/3 weeks. He's missed the end of the season last season and when he was injured and replaced by Rougier under DW and his absences tend to be extended. Now then, from what we've got left, how about.............BASSO............KEOGH...........CAREY.............FONTAINE....WILSON......JOHNSON........SKUSE.NOBLE....BETSY...................BROOKER....ANDREWS...........SUBSTHOMASORRJEVONSWOODMAN, ARTUS or PARTRIDGESMITH or JMWSubs could depend on who GJ thinks has the right attitude. Few more options if we go 4-4-2..BASSO.....ORR..KEOGH..........CAREY...FONTAINE..BETSY............SKUSE...........NOBLE.WILSON...........BROOKER..ANDREWS......SUBSTHOMASJEVONSSMITH or JMWPARTRIDGEJOHNSON
Guest Topbuzz Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I prefer the 4-4-2 option damn lucky we got some depth to the squad
megansdad Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 4--4 -2 for me with Jevons ahead of Andrews just on basis of Huddersfield game. Smith will certainly be on the bench and would prefer Jmw there to Partridge
bransonmo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I like your 4-4-2 formation, it has strength. GJ has always intended Betsy for right wing to replace Murray, and Brooker will score a brace in short order......he's hungry, angry and wants Championship football. Smith....... I really do wonder sometimes.

Blagdon red Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I prefer the 4-4-2 option damn lucky we got some depth to the squadI think you'll find it's not luck, but good management.
