Bristol Boy Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Now, I don't think my worst enemy would call me happy clappy but sometimes you have to examine statistics.....in fact you should all the time. Our last seven games on this "poor run," readP7 W1 D4 L2 F6 A7Two of the games were 2-2 draws against Boro-no shame in that scoring four and conceding four with several key players missing in the replay in particular. Our victory came away at Blackpool, again with key players injured and three more leaving the field during the game! The draws at home against Huddfld & Rovers in which we were poor, no excuse there. The two defeats, one home Cheltm-awful and away at the League Leaders-not shameful, but very average and I think we were worth a point-again without Brooker or Showunmi. The four games before that were all wins and very good onesOldham 3-0Coventry 2-0Brighton 2-0Tranmere 3-2 from two nil down.We are again without key players tomorrow in McCombe, McAllister,Showunmi, Russell & Murray, but I'm still looking for us to continue our away form with a win.Providing at least two of the above recover, not forgetting we lose Wilson & Betsy cup tied, I think we'll beat the Gas and that'll give the club a major boost ahead of what has now become the run in.
