I can't say I'm surprised.

Two questions, how did Mangotsfield and Yate manage to play on the same day?

Why was the pitch left uncovered with heavy overnight rain forecast?

As it didn't actually rain on Saturday morning at all, no need to cover it then, was there........

Not to mention the fact that they played on that other well known local ground............Eastville Park!!........it is about a mile and a half away, though. :whistle2:

Still, cheats never prosper and they'll be nervous after our recent away wins, it'll boost our confidence having won at BHA, Oldham & Blackpool and no amount of training can make up for the confidence that winning games produces

I saw Steve Phillips up the gym on Friday night.

Why would he go up at about half 9 the night before a matych to work out unless he knew it was off?

Exactly what I thought, and you can be damn sure Yate and the Mango's don't even have the option of covering their pitches!

Points deduction and thrown out of the JP Trophy please.

Yes, I think fifteen points would be about fair. :dancer2:

How much did they have to pay the ref?!

If they lose tonight, their season is over. If they win (heaven forbid), they will make a ton of money at the Millenium stadium. I wouldn't be suprised if they watered the pitch last Friday night to get the game called off. Playing Stockport in their form would be certain defeat anyway & now they are fresh for tonights game. This should be investigated!

"We don't believe that every effort was made to get the game on."
