Red Robin is right, I have been giving johnson the benefit of the doubt up until wednesday night, but we had not much more than 2 shots saved in 180 minutes against a team lower than us in the leagues who just happen to be our local rivals with the fans begging for a victory and with a £500k pay out waiting for us. That is pathetic and if anything like that form continues in the league we can forget all about promotion. History suggests that once again we will blow it when it comes to it, and we will still have average prima donna footballers earning top money next season, under achieving like the most of the last decade. They ought to be fined for their efforts against rovers and warned about their future attitude and application, and that goes for the manager as well, but that wont happen because we might get promoted in a couple of months...

But in order for your view to have any credibility, you've got to balance it out.

He's also got a lot to be proud of - our league position, our home form over the season as a whole, the spirit in the team.

Nothing's ever going to be perfect in this division and although he makes the odd balls-up, as a whole I'd say he's done rather well.

You can't keep on focussing solely on the negatives. Sure we get the odd disappointing result, but it's blinkered not to temper that with the good ones.

i agree to most people on htis forum, we don't need to have a JPT final. we need to concitrate on promotion.

and i think johnson is doing a fantastic job and he has my full support. he has bought in quality players wo can play prem standard and our fa cup run was good for the bank balance.
