Never to the dark side Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I know we never know other fans financial situations and its been a veryheavy(financial) for footy fans over the last few weeksSo I do understand its just thier was no top flight games and it was a gloriously sunny day (which we don't have too many of)So maybe a few decided to take advantage of the good weather
Guest City Scout Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I was hoping for 13,000 today but there you go. I fully expect our last 4 home games to be biggies though. Swansea, Forest, & Yeovil will bring a few, & the Rotherham game should be full up for our promotion party!!!!
22A Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 As has been said we're going through a batch of two games a week, but...Six months ago we were 20th and had an attendance only 1,500 fewer than yesterday when we were 2nd. It could be argued therefore our real fans although few in number remain loyal. Many other clubs would see their attendance rise and fall in relation to their League position.

Brianred Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I know the prices are reduced for the Bradford game but by what and for who, ie kids. A mate of mine phoned me up to say he "phoned the ground, but only got answering machine saying phone back in office hours, whereas they used to leave a message about up and coming games. Also there is nothing on the club website under ticket info, or online it just says about advance bookings. So in my mind this is what lets the club down. Anyone out there know?

dezgimed Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Why is it a suprise? For goodness sake, the club has about 9-11,000 proper fans. The rest are probably just ''Are Man U on TV today?'' ''No'' ''Ah well lets go watch City''.We're deluding ourselves to think that this club has big support. The part timers all crawl back for big games e.g. Rovers and Boro'..and what happens, we have 6,000 clowns who don't know the players who worsen the pathetic atmosphere we already have.
