Bristol Boy Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Does this mean that there will also be 2,000 City in the EE??What an atmosphere that will be!!
Collis Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 We can only hope.My only fear is that they will wait before the rest of the ground sells out before they put home supporters in the EE.
BS10 RED Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I think they would only have it as a overflow But will be great if it was the same as saturday.

Moth Eaten Pillow Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Agree with you on that one mate, I would be really suprised if they opened the EE due to the history between us.That stands been shared with Plymouth and Cardiff in recent past. Two teams who we've had history with. With them being coached over I doubt you'll see to many of their thugs about anyway.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was open for Rotherham either.

It was open against Middlesborough so why not Swansea? Bearing in mind what I posted last about them being coached over.

Moth Eaten Pillow Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Plymouth maybe but i cant ever remember city fans being in there when we've played Cardiff. When we played them on that Tuesday night plus the play off game.
bartolona Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 The amount of police on duty for the Swansea game, if last season is anything to go by, we should be able to sit on their laps with no chance of trouble(not that i would want to sit on thier laps).
Portishead Red Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 When we played them on that Tuesday night plus the play off game.I was at both and cant remember both us and them in the EE!Maybe we could open the EE for the swansea and yeovil match then!!!!

Sir Colby-Tit Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I was sat in the EE when we played none other than Millwall on boxing day 1997. There was no trouble then.
Guest DanC Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I was at both and cant remember both us and them in the EE!Maybe we could open the EE for the swansea and yeovil match then!!!! I was Defo in there for at least one of them games.
Bristol Boy Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Something tells me that the police wouldnt allow it. I cant really see the EE being opened up for city fans to be honest.2,000 City + 2,000 Swansea = 1,000 segregated empty seats and we had that number in total. in there for The Gas with not a jot of trouble.
Nibor Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 If we sell enough tickets it will be open same as it was for the gas. We had the same scaremongering then and it still was.As BB says, 1,000 empty seats is enough segregation and there will be a heavy police presence for those games anyway, plus the tickets will be put on sale late not giving any idiots a chance to get organised (though unfortunately with the same effect on non-idiots who want to go there to sing). Can't see that that's really avoidable for those particular games though.
