GeoTheCiderHead Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I absolutely loved Coventry away. Couldnt stop singing and a hell of a result but Oldham away has been my favourite away game this season. Loved it, great atmos and result. Anyone agree?
WTFiGO!?! Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 yeah. for me Oldham or Coventry, I'd whac Swansea in there too.Does Brentford at home count as an away game?
Guest mattbrownbcfc Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Trip up 2 the riverside was my favourite. I no we lost but i was so proud of the boys.
cidercity1987 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hmm, I have a choice of:Bradford, lost 2-1Huddersfield, lost 2-1Cheltenham (Carling Cup), lost 2-1Rovers, lost 1-0.Having only been to 4 away games it'd be greedy of me to expect them to be our better performances, but just 1 point to celebrate would have been nice.

NickJ Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I absolutely loved Coventry away. Couldnt stop singing and a hell of a result but Oldham away has been my favourite away game this season. Loved it, great atmos and result. Anyone agree?1. M'boro by a mile - great day out, good pubs at Sheffield and Thirsk, most obviously the excitement of the game and City's performance, and non-stop singing which if you watch again on DVD is all you can hear throughout the whole game.2. Port Vale - successful coach trip and p-up, great goal by Scott Brown.3. Coventry - City played them off the park.4. Oldham - ditto and good pre-match banter in their pub.5. Cheltenham in the league - City were terrible but Rod Stewart's performance was mint.Worst:1. Rovers, obviously.2. Cheltenham in the cup - City were terrible and no Rod Stewart to compensate.3. Tranmere - at the height of Johhnners negative tactics, which thankfully appear to have disappeared to that extent.4. Swansea - the coaches only trip which consequently saw me reduced to drinking Worthington for 2 hours in a concrete wind-tunnel.5. Yeovil - the most passionless local derby I have ever been to.I have a feeling both lists will see new contenders before the end of the season.
NickJ Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 For different reasons-Northampton & OldhamIan I have to ask. What are the reasons?
bh_red Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Blackpool.........for totally non football related reasons
bissellredhead Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 i'd have to say bournemouth for the celebrations of when we scored and at the end, it was quite a big result at the time
Barry Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Oldham was fantastic, despite managing to get lost around the town centre. Trips to Blackpool and chesterfield were very enjoyable with very important wins. Also the half time antics at chesterfield were hilarious!
Barry Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Best moment at an away game would be when Boom Boom equalised at Cheltenham, everyone around me was going crazy!
Ashcott Boy Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Best for me was probably Northampton, so glad i went considering it was on Sky. Cotterill was immense and even after the Carey and Orr incident wer managed a great win. Worst was probably Yeovil, losing 2-1 was painful considering the amount of Yeovil fans i know
giles_23_bcfc Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I absolutely loved Coventry away. Couldnt stop singing and a hell of a result but Oldham away has been my favourite away game this season. Loved it, great atmos and result. Anyone agree?Tough between Oldham and Cheltenham (League).Oldham because i have never come away from a game with a banging headache for a couple of days and not being able to talk properly for 4 daysCheltenham because of the atmosphere and everyone going crazy when we scored the equaliser our 2nd half display deserved. Also it was on my 18th
bartolona Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Coventry, Oldham for performances and atmosphere's and Forest for the number's.
tom buck Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 i have only been to one away game so far this season which was swansea, I'm going to crewe so hopefully that should be a good match, and a good result.
BCFC Grim Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Theres been a few hasn't there.Boro, oldham, chesterfield, blackpool, swansea and forrest. I no its a bit of a cliche, but i enjoy all away games.
boadle Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Forest for the atmosphere, Coventry for the olé football.
WTFiGO!?! Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 i'd have to say bournemouth for the celebrations of when we scored and at the end, it was quite a big result at the timeAh yes,was buzzing long into the night after Bournemouth.
Bristolian76 Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Forest for me for pure atmosphere and numbers, the noise leading up to and after kick off was immense.
The Batman Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Forest for me for pure atmosphere and numbers, the noise leading up to and after kick off was immense.I agree, forest was superb, except for the result and the fight afterwards.
i_am_red Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 cheltenham in the league, a great atmosphere all day even the train home with rod was class
