Bristol Boy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Since moving to the Keepmoat, Doncaster have seen attendances dip from 14,000 for their Yorks Derby with Huddfld on New Years Day, to 6,777 on Sat for Cheltenham when goals from City old boys Gillespie & Odejayi saw them slump to a 2-0 defeat. They are missing Heffernan & McGammon with Price also dropping out with an Achiles injury last Saturday.Current Form All Games (League)P6 W2 D1 L3 F2 A8Current Home Form (League)P6 W2 D2 L2 F7 A8Our away form makes every game look winnable with five wins out of six, the one defeat being to a Billy Sharp goal at League Leaders S****horpe.I'm guessing that we'll take about 1,200-1,500!
Portishead Red Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 i think it will be closer to the 2000 mark!1400

samo Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Will be there with the other half. Got a feeling it will be a big following. Brand new stadium, good run of results, no home game for over a week, all adds up to a bumper outing!

Betelgeuse Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I'd imagine about 1500 + city fans there, not sure if the England game will effect the support, what time do they kick off in Israel by the way?
Bristol Boy Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 I'd imagine about 1500 + city fans there, not sure if the England game will effect the support, what time do they kick off in Israel by the way?About 5.30pm so we'll need a big pub to hold all those who'd like to watch it.
robins72 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 http://www.yfh45.dial.pipex.com/doncaster_rovers.htmfound this website which shows a lovely picture of the ground and a few places to have a drink. There is a barin the stadium though.

Guest bcfcred Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Wembley! How did you get tickets mate?Make sure you wear a City shirt too !
tin Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Unless I'm mistaken, we've only been given 1,500 tickets up there so unless that's been increased then there's no way we'll be taking more than that!Saying that, I've got my ticket along with 8 other mates. Should be a cracking day! Can't wait!

Bristol Boy Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 Upto 3k in their away end, it was 1500 advanced tickets they sent down initially. No announcement from our ticket office yet, so it looks like the 1,500 tickets haven't gone.
Portishead Red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 No announcement from our ticket office yet, so it looks like the 1,500 tickets haven't gone.I'm going to pay on the day as alot of people will i expect.
Bristol Boy Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I'm going to pay on the day as alot of people will i expect.I hope it's not one of those one ticket office open wonders-Still, if it worked at Forest with over 4,000 going.I can't see us taking anymore than 1,500 tops unless we make a big exciting signing and with our "quartet returning" that's even less likely.

Bummer man.Is Murray likely to play at Donny?

Bristol Boy Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I am committed to a 50th birthday "do" in Gloucester. Bummer man.Is Murray likely to play at Donny? No but he should be available for Forest
Puckle_red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I'll be there, I reckon with pay on the day as well we will take between 2200-2500. New ground, not actually that far and we are 2nd after all.
Guest red richards Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 just phoned up to booked me forest tickets n i asked how many theyve sold and they said just over 600
Guest port marine red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I'll be there, I reckon with pay on the day as well we will take between 2200-2500. New ground, not actually that far and we are 2nd after all.Yeah, not actually that far :noexpression:
Guest red richards Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 yea donny tickets theve sold about 600 so far
BCFCfan Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 with a week to go i reckon we'll take 1250 or so.
Guest martin Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Me and my boy are going: we're lucky mascots, 4 away games since Christmas and we won the lot. As we live in Halifax this game is a 'home' tie for us. I just hope we are a lot better than Donny lasy year at the Earth Stadium!
Puckle_red Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Yeah, not actually that far :noexpression:Its really not. Wack on the motorway in 45 mins you go past Tamworth and Stafford then you already have signs for south yorkshire, and not long after you get to south yorkshire you're 20 mins from the ground. 2 hours and 45 mins max in a car.Plus a new stadium and the team is in form etc...
WhistleHappy Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 don't forget yer GLOVES.... brrrr -be a bit chilly up there! you'll be needin' a nice cup of tea & a hot pasty inside ya for sure!
Seend Red Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 yea donny tickets theve sold about 600 so farNot bad considering most will pay on the day as I am. I can see a bumper away crowd, it's at the point of the season when people who don't normally go away do, especially when your second in the league, and the new ground factor.1500 minimum.
Guest andy k Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 yea donny tickets theve sold about 600 so farAnybody got an update on how many we've sold?I'm going with a mate and his Dad in the works van (company petrol....bonus!!).Travelling upto Burnham Friday evening (i live in Poole).Only downer is that my mates Dad is a great lover of The Little Chef Olympic Breakfast so we have to stop on the way........small price to pay!!!See you at Donnie people!!!

BCFCfan Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 That the way go Codered. What i really mean thats the way the sat-nav takes me. I'd end up in Ballykissangel if i didnt have it.2 hours 40 minutes to sheffield, another 30 mins from there.
Guest andy k Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Anybody got an update on how many tickets we've sold?
