Guest Denilson Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Plymouth manager Ian Holloway has revealed that he is prepared to let Nick Chadwick and Ryan Dickson leave on loan before Thursday's deadline.Holloway told his club website: "Dickson told me he is fully fit and wants to go out on loan so I have suggested he give Torquay a call."Chadwick is trying to prove his is fit and it might benefit him if somebody wanted him on loan."He is back in full training now and I am sure we'll get some calls for him."
MATT BCFC Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 But is he any better than what we've got ??I'd say he was. However cant see it happening.
westonred Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 why would you say that ?? he has only played 9 times this season so he cant be all that.. Now we have Brooker back i cant see the problem unless he isnt fit
bh red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 holloway wouldn't want to give us any chance of getting promoted
Bristol Boy Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 We need a striker not an injury prone midfielder.
i_am_red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 We need a striker not an injury prone midfielder.I thought nick chadwick was a striker, do you mean luke chadwick
samo Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 We need a striker not an injury prone midfielder.Nick Chadwick is a forward who used to play for Everton, it's Luke Chadwick who is the doctor-bothering winger who started at ManU. Nick Chadwick has always looked lively each time I've seen him in a few FA cup ties and his brief Everton appearences before moving. However, if he has been injured and is trying to regain fitness is this the best time to get him? We don't need another sicknote.

Has he been out injured alot this season?
Redhyde Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 he's trying to prove his fitness after coming back from injury.I can't honestly believe people would want an unfit striker joining on loan to build his own fitness up at the expense of our campaign. We've already got Brooker doing that!
EmersonsKev Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Nick Chadwick is a striker. He has even scored at Ashton Gate for Everton. I think it would be worth a look. Also don't underestimate Ian Holloway. He has said he is proud and wants the best for Bristol football on numerous occasions.
westonred Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 The most this guy has scored in a season is 6 goals we need more quality than that. He is no better than a fully fit Brooker Jevons or Showumni so why bother with him.C.T.I.D

cheshire_red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 fully fit Brooker Jevons or Showumni.C.T.I.DBut as you couldn't fail to notice at Crewe, they aint fit me ol mucker is em.
westonred Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 But as you couldn't fail to notice at Crewe, they aint fit me ol mucker is em.Point taken but this Chadwick guy is clearly not fit either so its not worth bringing him in as he is obviously no better than the strikers we already have..
BS10 RED Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Cant see that happening do you really think hollyway would do us a favour.
Puckle_red Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 He is a player who thrives on confidence unless he scores goals early on (on a loan spell) then he wont be effective. But when hes full of confidence he is a real finisher. We have two better strikers than him though in Brooker and Enoch. Wouldn't see him as a back up because like I mentioned he needs confidence.
