Southport Red Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 If we beat the worst team in the league on our own ground in front of a full house of almost universally City fans we will go upIf we don't we have no right to call ourselves the second best team in the league. All this postng about previous 'choking' is erroneous. The only people left from the Brighton game are Carey and Murray and it looks like neither will play. Therefore - THIS TEAM are not chokers, it is however, entirely possible that the other common link to our failed past, jittery fans can pass along an atmosphere of tension so that it all goes wrong. These things have a habit of becoming self-fulfilling prophecies and I think for everyone's sake, we should only be positive for the next week. Any doubts you may have, please keep them to yourself for just a little while - just think 4.55 next Saturday you can all come on here with "I knew we'd blow it" or "yeah but we'll come straight back down unless...".So please, everyone, if you call yourslf a supporter, only positive posts for sevend days pleaseTHIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR SELF DOUBT
robins72 Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Very true we need to get behind the players stop moaning and pray the players do what they can do win!!
Guest OrrToScore Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Totally agree with that. In order to see us promoted, we need to really get behind the team on Saturday. If Blackpool or Forest score before we do, lets not panic and start shouting unhelpful comments. Lets just stick to the game plan, get behind the boys, and grind out a famous victory.
The Humble Realist Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 TO be fair i don't think anyones going to post anything too negative. However, winning a football match when you HAVE to win isnt as easy as simply "beating an already relegated team"
Redland Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 If we beat the worst team in the league on our own ground in front of a full house of almost universally City fans we will go upRotherham aren't the worst team in this division. If it wasn't for their 10 point deduction they would still have a chance of avoiding relegation.
Guest Haster Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Rotherham have nothing to play for but i cant see us losing we will be too strong for them EIEIEIO UP UP UP HERE WE GO!!Will be a nice 3-0 win lets get behind the lads from start till the end then lets PARTY!!!
