dezgimed Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Via Bristolcitynet.co.uk, from a Chelt fan:I went to Rotherham today. We had a nightmare start to go 2-0 down but then the goals flowed. 4 in a row to win 2-4 and stay up. Their defence is like paper. A fantastic achievement for the small club just up the road from you to stay up. The point is, City fans, if we can do that to them on their own pitch then BCFC will blow them away next week. Fear not, you WILL go up as Rotherham have had all the stuffing knocked out of them now. I saw a team today that were already on their summer break. According to local radio, Rotherham have sold 11 tickets for the trip to Ashton Gate. I cannot see any way that this team I watched today will stand and fight, especially with a full ground all behind City. Good luck, you will be ok, just believe... CTFC...If Cheltenham can score 4 away from home in 45 minutes against this team with their own fans..I have great hope that we will go up Sat.If the players go out there with bit of confidence, and with the crowd on fire, I think we could put on a show and stick 2 fingers up at Forest and Blackpool.
BS10 RED Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 I for some reason think were going to show them how to play football its going to be like 4 maybe 5 nil

Two of Cheltenhams goals came from a city reject, Steven Gillespie. He and Heffernan have scored 52 goals between them the last two seasons in our division.

Guest richerella Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Yep - but GJ got Enoch and PJ and Smith - nuff said really...I've just said this on another post - the earlier we score the better. Simple as that.
redmelsh Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 I know technically we should turn them over with ease, but for some reason i am still very nervous. I don't think it will be as easy as many think, it should be, but I'm going for 1/2-0. But the other side of me thinks if cheltenham can score 4 in 45 minutes against them, then we should be able to steam roller them. We havn't done too well against the likes of cheltenham and bradford this season though have we, thats the magic of football i suppose!
