Guest port marine red Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 City have won 14 league games at home. Seven of those have been one-nil and 4 of them have been by the odd goal. Combine that with the "egde-of-the-seat" factor which no doubt City are going to put us through, it all points to a nervy one-niler. Plump for draw half time, City full time, City to win 1-0 and first goalscorer to be Jamie McCombe, and time of first goal to be around the 70 minute mark. It's like buying money
Robbored Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Good shout, but I'm going for Jevo to score... Jevons probably won't be on the pitch if this seasons form is anything to go by.
The Casual Connoisseur Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Good shout, but I'm going for Jevo to score... Is that a joke!

EmersonsKev Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I have had a chat with a few friends and we all agree that there is a twist involving Andy Smith somewhere along the line. I'm going to be backing him for the goalscorer to send us up on Sat.
Rocky Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I don't give a rats arse who scores, just as long as it goes in!!!!!!!(usually bet on McCombe though anyway!)
redmelsh Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 wouldn't mind a couple a quid on andy smith, what do you rekon the odds are on a Smithers hat-trick?
Belfastcityfan Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Andy Smith has my Ulster flag!If he picks this game to score, he's free to get in on with my wife! And me for that matter!!!!!!!!!! :noexpression:
Barry Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 would not be able to bring myself to bet on City, as i would fell as if i was tempting fate

However, now the plan becomes clear. Andy Smith is to be the hero of the day. Tenner on him to score in the second half. 1-0.
