exiledinwatford Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Although most have been disappointed in a number of players' contributions, Saturday presents every player with an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and be our hero - for a few months at least! Will Betsy hammer in the winner? Will Jevo repeat his goal at Forest away? Maybe the ever reliable Skuse will steal into the box and head home! Maybe Carey will put it beyond doubt just like Tony Adams at Arsenal! Basso with a penalty save? Perhaps the Ref! Maybe an own goal from a new Rotherham hero. Can't bring myself to think of the Crewe players!I reckon the script is written for the ever willing, hard working Smudger Smith getting his first goal infront of a full house. If there's any justice this likeable bloke will exit the hero with a brace
Bristol Boy Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 From your mouth to Gods ears. They say everyone has their 15 mins of fame-Let's hope that someone scores a hat trick in fifteen minutes on Saturday and I don't care who it is..........Although, I'd like to see Smudger or Skuse get at least one

Mad Cyril Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I will choose Betsy please - probably the only way the mob in Dolman block B will get off his back.
richwwtk Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 How about Lee Matthews to shake of any injury worries to come off the bench and grab an 89th minute equaliser for Crewe at the City GroundUnlikely. He's only managed 10 sub appearances this season due to injury and has just been released by Crewe
Rudolf Hucker Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Let's hope that someone scores a hat trick in fifteen minutes on SaturdayI'd only qualify this BB by requesting that said hat trick is scored in the first fifteen minutes!
