Steve Watts
bloody hell!!!!I think it was just a simple sending off, but he'd been booked and sent ALOT over the course of the season, and this one took his disciplinary points over a certain level, so got an extra game or two as a result. Bristol Boy
I think it was two reds & 10 bookings or one red & ten bookings :noexpression:
Nibor
2 reds and 6 bookings last season.1 red and 12 yellows season before.Scottish football has a different system. Bookings and red cards get you points, 18 points gets you a ban. Every time you hit 18 points in a 2 year period the ban goes up by one game.Booked in the last two games of last season so I guess that must have taken him over his fourth 18 point "milestone".It's not yet clear that he is suspended however. He's not listed as suspended on the SFA site nor the FA site and transferring domestic bans isn't a given, it's a courtesy between football associations done by request. Not sure that request has been made yet?

Andy Horsman
It's quite probable that aside from the attraction of joining the best club in the Championship, Ivan decided that he was a marked man in Scottish football, and was developing an allergy to referees north of Carlisle!!He has admitted to being a passionate and emotional player, and channelled correctly, that additional energy and drive might well make him into a better player, enter stage right, tada, Mr Gary Johnson!! Guest DanC
3.8 Serving of SuspensionsSuspensions incurred by players shall be served in the competition in which they areincurred and shall be measured by the relevant team of the club (i.e. the team in whichthe player normally plays) playing the requisite number of matches. So as we don't play in the SPL does that possibly mean he wont be banned for the first four games? MarcusX
Well from watching him last night you can see where some of his bookings come from. Getting tackled down the right wing in the second half he then got up, chased him and lunged in. In fairness I think he got the ball but the ref gave a freekick. howey_ducky
Both partial to the cheeky headbutt (Northampton last year). Give them a bit of distance from each other!yeah, but if they both start mate, then they wont be on opposing sides of the pitch. they both play on the right. ballwinningcentrehalf
I always assumed that he would only face the ban if he ever re-joined an SPL side
