stevep38
Hi everyone,Just thought id mention a strange site after the sheffield game, I went to the match with a sheffield wednesday supporting mate, (yes i did take the piss constantly on the way home) and we hung around after the match to let the traffic die down, as we got on to the duel carrageway which was still nose to tail with traffic outside the groung my mate said theres all your team, and sure enough there was Bradley Orr, Jevo, Lee Johnson and Lee Trundle plus a few others crossing the road and disapeared down an embankment towards the river in search of the team coach, Now ive never seen that happen before, I thought the coach would have been waiting at the stadium. Has anybody ever seen anything like that happen before???
just like watching brazil
i saw that to they crossed a car in front of me could had been a bit dangerous if a disgruntled wednesday fan decided to perhaps ran them down.

nester
never mind the players, what about the fans? I got the tube back into the city center and it was totally packed with home fans, thankfully too packed for to notice my shirt.
EmersonsKev
Its not uncommon for players to go "home" following games as long as they are back for training on Monday. This could explain with these 4 all off to Liverpool for a drink or 2 with Johno going for the crack.

Gaffer
With us having no game now for 2 weeks, I imagine they were allowed some time off.Yeah they would have definitely been allowed time off.For the first time since the infamous incident in Corn Street, i actually saw some of the players out on a Saturday night. I was in Zizzi's on the triangle having some pre match pasta (not that it did golden hill any good), and in came Murray, Carey, McIndoe, Fonts to name a few. Topped off a good day! They had some dinner, jugs of water and a couple of beers, which is a long long way away from the old drinking culture at the club. It used to be every saturday you'd see the lads on the lash, and now their having social pasta!!How different is that??Anyway, the point is, although they've got some time off, the lads seem to respect their fitness alot more, hence the far superior work rate and fitness. Meh
A mate (there with a group of 3 others) saw Trundle in the Services on the way home (he was with his missus). He even came over and had a chat with them when he saw one had a City shirt on; a good 5 minutes apparently. What a guy huh?

ice_cold
Was ickle Lee properly strapped into his car seat? He could barely see over the steering wheel, lucky he drives a mini! I didn't realise that the seats went that close to the dash! He was talking on his phone whilst driving and the comment was made about having already got 3 points today and we didn't think he'd want another set!
